Ben Hill County opens public hearing on 2026 comprehensive plan update
At an April 8 meeting the Ben Hill County Commission held a public hearing on the 2026 Comprehensive Plan; Marcus McConico of the South Georgia Regional Commission outlined a DCA approval deadline (Feb. 28, 2026), a roughly nine‑ to twelve‑month schedule, and proposed three stakeholder meetings in late April, May and June 2025.
