Committee recommends approval of CART memorandum of understanding

The Transportation, Construction, Public Safety and Traffic Committee recommended that the City Council approve a Memorandum of Understanding enabling Chippewa Falls Police Department participation in the Chippewa County Child Abduction Response Team (CART). Chief Ryan Douglas told the Committee the prior CART coordinator had left and the agreement was reviewed and revived; the City Attorney reviewed the agreement without recommending changes. Heather Martell moved and Scott Sullivan seconded the recommendation; the motion carried with all present voting aye.
