During a Dec. 2, 2021 workshop at the Ben Hill County Courthouse Annex, Ben Hill County commissioners discussed the idea of privatizing the county's garbage collection services. Chairman Steve Taylor presided; Vice-Chair Hope Harmon and Commissioners Daniel Cowan and Bennie Calloway attended. County Manager Michael Dinnerman and County Clerk Donna R. Prather were present. Commissioner John Mooney was absent.
