Council unanimously approves amendment on forfeiture and RICO expense reimbursement
The Vigo County Council voted 7-0 to approve Ordinance 2026-3 amending Ordinance No. 96-2-1996 on reimbursement of expenses for forfeiture and RICO investigations and prosecutions; the revision was submitted from the Indiana Prosecuting Attorneys Council.

The council voted unanimously on Ordinance 2026-3, which amends Ordinance No. 96-2-1996 providing for reimbursement of expenses incurred during investigation and prosecution of forfeiture and RICO actions. Councilman Randy Gentry said the revision was submitted by the Indiana Prosecuting Attorneys Council; the council approved removing the existing ordinance and then approved the revised ordinance on roll-call votes that were 7-0 in each instance.
