Projects staff recommend extending Licking View sanitary sewer project deadline to April 1, 2026
Muskingum County projects staff told commissioners that contractor Zemba will miss the Sept. 7 completion deadline for the Licking View Sanitary Sewer Project and recommended extending the deadline to April 1, 2026; staff also raised questions about tap fees for existing residential customers and asked the assistant prosecutor to prepare clarifying language.

Don Madden and Zack Forker of the Muskingum County Projects Department reported to the commissioners that Zemba, the contractor on the Licking View Sanitary Sewer Project, will not complete the work by the September 7 deadline established in project documentation. Madden recommended extending the project's completion date to April 1, 2026.
