The Lapel Redevelopment Commission on Oct. 15 installed temporary officers to carry the commission through the end of the year and until a formal January election. After discussion and a voice vote, the commission approved a motion to appoint a temporary president for the remainder of the session, filled the vice president post, and installed Jeff Beck as secretary.
