Patti Pittman, senior coordinator for West Georgia Safe Routes to School, presented to the Fayette County Transportation Committee on local Safe Routes activities and funding opportunities. Pittman attached a presentation and said the federal RAISE discretionary grant could be pursued as a candidate funding source for the Starrs Mill Tunnel project.
