Lake Ripley board accepts Pheasants Forever bid for five-year prescribed-burn contract, with contingencies

The Lake Ripley Management District accepted a slightly lower bid from Pheasants Forever for a five-year prescribed-burn contract at a cost of $12,600. Board members and staff discussed the benefits of a multi-year contract to reduce management costs and added contract language making years 2027–2030 contingent on contractor performance and on residents approving the district budget for each year.
