On Aug. 5, 2025 the Board unanimously repealed Ordinance 2016-3 and approved staff and Planning Commission recommendations to add Board of Appeals procedures into the Land Development Code as Chapter 23, including appeals timing and hearing rules.

The Town of Taylor Board of Aldermen voted unanimously on Aug. 5, 2025, to repeal Ordinance 2016-3 and incorporate a Board of Appeals into the Land Development Code as Chapter 23. Consultant Judy Daniel presented staff recommendations and noted the Planning Commission’s prior review and recommendation for the change.
