The Fayette County Board of Commissioners appointed Bill Huhman, of Williamsport, as the county’s 2025 apiary inspector and set an appropriation of $2,500 for the position. The appointment specifies pay at $20.00 per hour and a mileage allowance of $0.55 per mile. The motion, moved by Donald L. Fleak and seconded by James D. Garland, passed with all commissioners recorded as "aye."
