Chief Chris Jones told trustees that March included flood response, dozens of inspections and training hours and that the department had received a $3,300 grant from Duke Energy for rescue equipment. "We received a grant from Duke Energy for $3,300 this week, and that will replace all of our outdated rescue equipment," he said.
