Tyler County awards grant-administration and engineering contracts for TxCDBG and GLO disaster programs
The Tyler County Commissioners Court on Jan. 13 approved David J. Waxman, Inc. as grant administrator and Good-Lasiter-Strong as engineering firm for upcoming Texas Community Development Block Grant and General Land Office reallocation programs, and approved time-extension change orders on an ongoing GLO CDBG mitigation project.

The Tyler County Commissioners Court voted Jan. 13 to hire David J. Waxman, Inc. as grant administrator for the 2025–2026 Texas Community Development Block Grant Fund Program (TxCDBG) and for the Texas General Land Office Disaster Reallocation Program (DRRP). County Auditor Jackie Skinner announced the awards after receiving the bids, and commissioners approved the appointments by unanimous vote.
