Students from LEAP Youth Alliance at Walton High School presented the group’s goals for the 2026–27 school year during the Oct. 12 meeting and the council adopted a proclamation recognizing Oct. 23–31 as Red Ribbon Week. LEAP leaders described two primary goals: grow membership and strengthen awareness in Tualatin schools, and raise community awareness about youth decision‑making related to alcohol and other substances.
