Board approves landfill closure/post-closure plan contract for multiple Modoc County sites

County staff presented a proposal with Lawrence and Associates for closure and post-closure maintenance plan certifications and updated non-water corrective-action cost estimates for multiple Modoc County landfills (Fort Bidwell, Lake City, Eagleville, Cedarville East and Alturas), not to exceed $28,750. Staff said the proposal was requested by the county's local enforcement agency and CalRecycle as part of a five-year permitting review process.
