Council refers multiple development, infrastructure and sign-code matters to Plan Commission
Alderman Christopher Blackburn and Alderman Rick Owen asked the Common Council to refer questions about public funding for infrastructure, development density scenarios, and a Sign Code review to the Plan Commission for study and possible action.

At the Feb. 4, 2025 meeting, the Common Council of Brookfield City recorded several legislative referrals to the Plan Commission. The referrals were announced under the mayor’s legislative referrals section and attributed in the agenda text to Alderman Christopher Blackburn and Alderman Rick Owen.
