Commissioner Brian Schmidt read Resolution 2‑2025 at the June 4 meeting; Town Attorney Lyndsey Ryan explained that the Council previously voted to grant the Town Administrator hiring authority with two explicit exceptions: the Town Administrator position itself and the Water/Wastewater Superintendent position. Under the resolution the Council retains authority to hire for those two positions and to make any termination or salary/compensation decisions.
