The Maine Board of Dental Practice on Nov. 15 determined that Rocuronium is an authorized muscle relaxant under Board Rule, Chapter 14, when used by a dentist familiar with its pharmacological effects and prepared to treat adverse reactions. The Board specified that the rule’s requirements on reversal agents remain explicit and that a future stakeholder meeting will address any changes to Chapter 14.
