The Town of Gay council voted unanimously on May 11 to decline an updated Meriwether County Animal Services Interagency Governmental Agreement that would have imposed charges on the town. Council member Estes moved "that we do not sign the agreement," and Council member Askvig seconded the motion; the vote in favor was unanimous.
