Speed study: Hustisford plans lower limits on St. Helena Road as Dead Creek Bridge work proceeds
Chairman Dave Margelofsky reported crash counts and blind-spot measurements on St. Helena Road and said the town aims to adopt an ordinance and install reduced speed-limit signs by the time Dead Creek Bridge work is finished; bridge construction is slated to begin June 2025.

Chairman Dave Margelofsky updated the board on a speed study for St. Helena Road, saying photographs have been taken of blind spots and measurements completed. He reported that a crash review from 2013 to the present shows 55 crashes and one fatality north of Highway 60 and 68 crashes at Oak Grove.
