Buchanan County’s board approved numerous personnel actions through the year. Notable hires and payroll authorizations included approval to hire an ambulance director (Kimberly Lingenfelter), authorization to hire and adjust salaries in the Auditor and County Attorney’s offices, multiple Sheriff's Office hires and authorizations, and Human Resources Director transitions. The board also approved temporary arrangements (Auditor acting on HR activity) and later formalized the Human Resources Director appointment as the county stabilized the role.
