Commissioner Jim Yahn told the Board he had sent a letter about the Perkins County Canal Environmental Impact Statement and was seeking Cooperating Agency status; Sedgwick County invited Logan County to meet and discuss concerns. "They must respond by April 6 to the EIS," Yahn said, and he asked other commissioners to join a meeting with Sedgwick County to discuss potential effects on irrigation, land division and the county tax base.
