The township administrator presented a proposed schedule for a residential solid-waste and recycling procurement, saying the current contract expires next spring and proposing a timeline that would publish an RFP in November, select a vendor by mid-December and begin a new contract on April 1, 2026. The administrator recommended contracting with Energy Alliances to draft the RFP and related specifications, noting the consultant's fee would be written into the bid so township funds would not be used.
