The Commission approved two related proposals to support submission of a Georgia Department of Natural Resources (DNR) GOSP grant application for Radium Spring River Park. The board authorized a $146,000 contract with 3‑C McClure Architect, LLC for architecture and engineering services and a $4,500 contract with Cooper Agricultural Services, LLC for grant-writing services. County Administrator Deron King confirmed both items will be funded from SPLOST V interest; Commissioner Gloria Gaines successfully amended the motion to add the funding source before unanimous approval.
