Pets Inclusive Novato program reports first seals awarded; Marin Humane pledges support
Program leaders told the council three local businesses have received the Pets Inclusive Novato seal, two more are pending, and outreach to roughly 1,500 businesses is planned; Marin Humane emphasized partnership and licensing reminders for owners.

Program representatives gave a mid‑year update on the Pets Inclusive Novato initiative, describing early adoption by local businesses and outreach plans. Brian Cooley said the program is in its activation year and that “so far we have our 1st 3 businesses have been awarded their official seal and listed on our site, promoted in social media, and also showcased in an article in the IJ.” He said two more businesses are in the final vetting stage.
