During the public comment portion of the Nov. 18 meeting, Kristal Clay of East Texas Learning Lab reported that "Rusk County was selected as a site for autistic services by PAT but it will be six weeks before the first child can be seen." Commissioners offered brief remarks afterward: Commissioner Randy Gaut thanked people for prayers for his mother, and Commissioner Greg Gibson noted a new golf course in Mount Enterprise as worth a visit.
