Winamac staff heard that outage-mapping and visualization are among the clearest operational advantages of the proposed AMI system. Using a map-based dashboard (TrueView), presenters demonstrated how the system shows which meters are offline and how meters route communications to collectors, allowing crews to focus troubleshooting and reduce repeated night-time responses.
