Lake manager reports on grants, harvester removal and carp program planning

Lake Manager Lianna Spencer told the board the Willerup cost-share is complete, the Sleepy Hollow project awaits DNR permit approval, and the Phragmites grant deliverables have been approved and reimbursement is pending from the DNR. Spencer said the $7,500 advance for the Lake Ripley Habitat Assessment funded a near-shore nongame fish survey and that the District is completing required five-year surveys to guide its management plan.
