Council accepted a recommendation to award demolition of three unsafe structures to Ace Transports, LLC for $26,000 after reviewing four bids.

City Administrator Michael Hall told the council that the city received four bids to demolish three identified unsafe structures and that the bid board recommended accepting the low bid from Ace Transports, LLC for $26,000. Council Member Curtis Whittley moved to accept the recommendation; Council Member Norman Johnson seconded the motion and it passed 3-0.
