Town Manager Steve Gunty told the council a total of 16 applicants submitted resumes for the Town Manager vacancy and the hiring committee has begun initial interviews. Gunty said additional staff will be included in subsequent interviews with select candidates and that resumes and interviews are being scored with focus on who will be the best fit and likely to remain in the position for a while.
