The Rusk County Commissioners Court voted Aug. 5 to award the purchase and installation of an AWOS III PT automated weather station at the county airport. Bids were referenced from the July 14, 2025 minutes; the court accepted the bid from Meshotec International Incorporated after a motion by Commissioner Bennie Whitworth and a second by Commissioner Greg Gibson.
