Commission adopts scaled‑down zoning code amendments, adds ADU rules and site‑orientation standards

Burleson staff presented and the Planning and Zoning Commission adopted text amendments to Appendix B of the zoning ordinance, adding definitions, site‑orientation standards for auto laundry/car wash uses and ADU rules (900 sq ft or 50% of the primary dwelling’s floor area, plus one dedicated parking spot when an SUP is required). Staff removed sections that could trigger remedies under Senate Bill 929.
