The select board voted to authorize the planning commission to contract with the Bennington Regional Commission (BCRC) for a streamlined update to the town plan focused on maps and the energy section. Committee member (speaker 3) moved that the planning commission proceed and spend $1,600 now with BCRC; the motion was seconded and carried by voice vote. The board agreed the remaining balance would be paid after July 1 from next fiscal-year funds.
