Council withholds final payment on pumping‑station work pending contractor corrections
A GMB inspection found corrections needed at newly completed pumping stations; Superintendent Shawn Lane said a corrections list will be sent to the contractor and Administrator Erin Braband said final payment will not be released until the Town is satisfied. President Newnam asked about the pumping station project and the conditions in which the contractor left the stations. Superintendent Shawn Lane said a walk‑through inspection was performed by GMB and that a list of corrections will be sent to the contractor.
