Emergency Manager Tom Perez briefed the board Aug. 10 on a disaster-declaration process intended to help fund tower repairs and related infrastructure. Perez said the declaration "will not cover the repeater itself, however, will cover the antenna and cabling on the west tower" and that he is preparing additional documentation to request similar coverage for the east tower.
