The Lynn County Commissioner's Court voted unanimously on March 24 to adopt a proclamation designating April as Child Abuse Awareness Month. Commissioner John Hawthorne moved for acceptance and Commissioner Larry Durham seconded the motion; the record shows all members voted in favor.
