The Brown County Board of Commissioners on Oct. 12 approved an amendment to the compensation for Interim Appraiser Kerri Koch. Commissioner Lucas Heinen moved to set the pay at "$7.00 per parcel, equivalent to $61,355 annually, for 20 hours per week through December 2026," pending a Memorandum of Understanding with Nemaha County; Commissioner Richard Tesoriero seconded and the motion carried.
