Water and Sewer Superintendent Fosbinder told the committee that Well No. 4 currently has no emergency power connection because the city's portable generator is being used at the Fountain Street Lift Station. He reviewed A.B. Electric's proposal to install a 600-amp service-rated manual transfer switch and an exterior receptacle to allow connection of a portable generator during power outages and recommended accepting the proposal.
