David Cleveland of the East Texas Council of Governments addressed the Rusk County Commissioners Court during the public-comment portion and presented awards for outstanding contributions to the region. He recognized Patrick Dooley of the Rusk County Fire Marshal’s Office as the Regional First Responder of the Year and posed with county leaders for a newspaper photo.
