Board approves superintendent-search RFP and later authorizes contract finalization

The board moved to approve an RFP to begin a superintendent search and to solicit a search firm; the motion was seconded and carried by roll call. Later in the meeting the board convened an executive session to discuss personnel matters. After returning, a motion passed authorizing Mister Beecham and Mister Chitwood to finalize the superintendent contract and leadership transition agreement for execution by the board president and Dr. Luttrell.
