Longtime RPC member announces resignation after years of service
A commission member announced this meeting would be his last after 15'1 years of service, saying he is stepping down to allow the planner and mayor time to find a qualified replacement and expressing appreciation for his volunteer service to Bradley County.

At the end of the meeting the chair (voice recorded as speaker 2) announced he will step down following this session. He said he had served for "15 or 20 years" and described the commission as a volunteer body. "This will be my last meeting in the planning commission," he said, adding that he loves Bradley County and has five generations of family on a small family farm.
