Sabattus upgrades tabulators, reports robust early absentee ballot activity
Town election officials reported delivery of new tabulators and said about 10% of registered voters had requested absentee ballots ahead of the Nov. 3 election; officials are planning early voting and recruitment for election-day workers.

Sabattus election officials told the Select Board on Oct. 6 that the town received three new tabulators that will replace older models and speed result processing on election night. The official said the new units produce darker, larger printed results and that the town's number of tabulators is increasing from two to three.
