Lakeside street lights and water tower projects move forward
Lakeside representatives told the council Delmarva Power has begun approvals for street lights expected by Spring 2026, and water tower plans have been submitted to MDE with a projected 18-month completion timeline after approval.

James Cook reported that Lakeside has contacted Delmarva Power regarding street lights on Lake Tahoe; Delmarva has begun the process and Cook said the lights are expected to be installed by Spring 2026. He also told the council water tower plans have been submitted to the Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE); once MDE approval is received the project will go out to bid and the projected timeline for completion is 18 months after MDE approval.
