Manager reports fast garage progress, FEMA acceptance for WWTF docs and grant filing for generator
Village Manager Erik Bailey reported fast progress on the Water & Light garage roof, that FEMA CRC accepted Aldrich & Elliott’s refined A&E document for the DR4720 WWTF project, and that he filed the SCRP Tier 2 grant application for the water plant generator before the deadline. He also outlined the 2026 budget timeline.

Erik Bailey, Village Manager, reported that the new Water & Light garage walls and mezzanines are up and that roof work is more than half complete. He asked trustees to remember the bond for the garage when planning the budget and suggested asking voters for a higher amount to avoid returning again for additional funds.
