At its Feb. 19, 2025 regular meeting, the Rusk County Commissioners Court recorded the following actions: no budget amendments or transfers were required; employee payroll for Feb. 20, 2025, was approved; authorization was given for the County Judge to execute an interlocal inmate housing agreement with Nacogdoches County; advertising for bridge building bids was approved with hauling road materials removed for later consideration; approval was granted for Constable Pct. 4 to purchase equipment (final price to be provided); the SAVNS contract was renewed; Eastex Telephone Cooperative Inc. was authorized to place a 1.5-inch duct and fiber optic cable in multiple ROW segments in Precinct 2; January departmental reports were approved (Depot Museum, Airport, Treasurer, Rusk County Libraries, Justice of the Peace Pct. 4); payment of bills was approved; and the court adjourned.
