The full story
Planning staff presented the Prairie Creek Ridge Phase 11 preliminary plat, a single-family subdivision located at the southwest corner of Brown Street and County Tranquay. Staff explained the PD overlay adopted in 2025 authorized reduced setbacks and smaller lot widths (down to 65 feet) and that the proposed lots range from about 8,450 to 19,600 square feet, averaging roughly 10,600 square feet. Staff emphasized there is no cost to the city for the Schumacher Street extension; the developer will make the required contributions and ultimately dedicate the road to the city.
