Heather Deno of LEDO updated the council on efforts to strengthen relationships with local businesses and help address workforce challenges. Deno said many local employers struggle to hire because potential workers lack driver licenses or face drug-test barriers; LEDO is working with state partners and local firms to address those issues and has updated its website to better connect employers and job seekers.
