Staff reports progress on net‑zero code work, parks master plan and Lena Gulch drainage grant

City staff (Miss Lorentz) gave council a multi-item update on the strategic action plan at the Oct. 26 meeting. Staff said council recently approved the 2024 International Building Codes with above‑code energy-efficiency requirements and that the sustainability board is preparing a net‑zero recommendation to council later in the year. The parks and recreation master plan is in development and expected for public review in late 2025 or early 2026, following the open-space master plan approved in July.
