Trustees approve partial subscriptions for mapping app after split vote
Trustees voted 3–2 to pay half of the $30 annual mapping-app fee for the Village Manager and offer half-cost to the fire chief, assistant chief(s) and one electric staffer; trustees debated whether subscriptions should be provided or individually purchased.

Darrell Wescom asked the board to authorize a cost-sharing arrangement for a paid mapping app used by the Village Manager and by some emergency and electric staff. Erik Bailey said he uses the app "far more for work than for personal use" and noted the annual fee is $30. Darrell moved to pay half the cost of the paid mapping app for Erik and to offer half cost to the fire chief, assistant chief and Nate Brigham if they wish to use it.
