The East Hempfield Township Zoning Hearing Board granted variances for a residential addition at 2342 Spring Valley Road during its Sept. 21 hearing. The board approved a six‑foot variance to the rear-yard setback (resulting in a 29‑foot rear setback) and a 0.3% increase in maximum lot coverage to allow the proposed 21-by-12 three-season room.
