Board to consider domino hire for solid waste supervisor and IT systems engineer replacement
Staff told the board that after approving a solid waste supervisor appointment, the county would implement a domino hire to fill the vacated position and fill an IT systems engineer vacancy after that employee accepted the IT deputy director role; the board indicated informal approval to proceed to post and fill.

Jessica Warren, Human Resources, reported two staffing items the board will see on the next agenda: a domino hiring sequence following approval to fill the solid waste supervisor position and a request to replace a systems engineer after that employee (Andre) accepted promotion to IT deputy director. "Last week, they were approved to fill their solid waste supervisor position... so if that position's filled internally, then they could then fill the position that it... the person vacated," Warren said.
